The boat rocks side to side as you clamber onto the deck. Hurriedly you start the engine and engage the throttle. As the boat glides away from the dock you look behind you to see the hulking behemoth standing at the water’s edge, glaring at you with an insatiable hunger. It thrashes its tail to the side, dipping its head low. As it straightens and stands tall it bellows, a deep, guttural roar that rattles inside your chest. It turns and stomps off toward the interior of the dockyard.

You made it. You survived the monstrosities that Eden had brought to existence, and proven your resolve not only to yourself, but to your fellow survivors as well. You look at each other, finally able to take a breath without fear of being consumed. A faint smile crosses your face, removed quickly by the remembrance of your friends that didn’t make it.

One struggle is finished. But you fear another one is just beginning. The fight to make GeneSyn pay for what they did, and hold those responsible for this catastrophe accountable starts now. As your grip tightens around the wheel, you hear a familiar voice scratch across the radio.
